1. Increased Crop Yield

Genetic Modification (GM) and CRISPR Technology: GM and CRISPR can assist scientists in crop design with higher yields, faster growth rates, and higher nutritional values. It all comes together to enhance productivity in land areas, as these are scarce today.

2. Natural Pest and Disease Resistance

Less Application of Pesticides: Biotech crops can be genetically engineered to avoid the most dangerous pests and diseases thereby reducing the application of chemical pesticides. This will thus eliminate the use of poisonous chemicals, therefore saving the farmers' money besides minimizing environmental pollution with an increase in biodiversity.
