Poha is a popular Indian dish made with flattened rice. You can make it at any time with vegetables. Here's a simple recipe for making Poha testy and delicious in this post I show you how you make Poha in just 15 min.

About my Poha recipes:

Ingredients: For (Serves 3)

1. Poha (Flattened rice): 2 Cups

2. Green chili (2-4 finely Chopped)

3. Onion(Optional): 1 small diced

4. Peanuts(Optional): 2-3 tbsp.

5. Curry: Leaves (5-10) leaves

6. Onion: (1 half piece)

7. Mustard Seeds: 1tbsp

8. Turmeric Powder: 1/2tbsp.

9. Mustard oil: 2 or 3 tbsp.

10. Salt: to test

11. Sugar: (Optional) 1/2 tbsp.

12. Lemon Juice: 1tbsp

13. Grated Coconut: (optional) for garnish

How to make Poha stepwise:-

1. Prepare the Poha:

• Rinse the Poha under cold water in a colander. and let it sit for 5-6 minutes until it softens.

• Sprinkle salt and sugar on the Poha and gently mix with ( salt sugar for your test).

2. Cook the Potatoes:

• Heat oil in a pan and diced potato and fry until golden ( do not fry high flame ) and cooked through. remove and set aside.

3. Roast the Peanuts:

• In the same pen, add peanuts and roast until crunchy. set them inside.

4. Prepare the tempreing:

• Heat oil in the Pan.

• Add Mustard seeds and let them splutter.

• Add Curry Leaves and Green chilis. And saute for a few seconds.

• Add chopped onions and saute unit brown colore (translucent).

5. Cook the Poha:

Add Turmeric powder to the onion mixture and stir.

• Add the soft Poha, Cooked potatoes, and roasted peanuts.

• Mix gently to coat the Poha with spices. Cook for 3-4 minutes on low heat.

6. Add Lemon and garnish:

• Turn off the heat add lemon juice and mix gently.

• Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and coconut if using it.

• add the sugar if want to test it optional.

Serving:

Served with a hot coffee or tea.

• You can add Crepcy chickpea noodles on top for extra texture.
